PROGRAMS

ACT Government — $355m Sustainable Household Scheme

As the exclusive finance and administrator for Australia’s largest household electrification program, Brighte operates as the lender and transaction platform for the ACT Government’s Sustainable Household Scheme — delivering 0% loans of up to $15,000 over 10 years for solar, battery, electric heating and cooling, heat pumps, EVs and EV chargers. Brighte manages the program end to end including: credit assessment, loan origination, payments, servicing, reporting and compliance, while enabling delivery through an established local vendor network. To date, $275m in loans have been written, with more than 25,000 ACT households — 25% of the territory — participating in the program. Brighte also administers the loan and payments components of the Solar for Apartments program in the ACT.

Tasmanian Government — $70m Energy Saver Loan Scheme

Brighte was the delivery platform for Tasmania’s flagship statewide household energy efficiency program, delivering 0% loans of up to $10,000 for solar, battery, electric heating and cooling, heat pumps, insulation and glazing. Using Brighte’s own capital and established lending platform, the program reached households across the state — including regional communities — while Brighte managed credit assessment, loan origination, payments, servicing, reporting and compliance on behalf of the Tasmanian Government. More than 8,000 households participated in the program, with $70m in loans written across multiple product types and over 100 local vendors enabled.

Commonwealth Bank — Home Energy Upgrades

Brighte powers CommBank’s Home Energy Upgrades service, connecting Commonwealth Bank customers with Brighte’s nationwide network of accredited CER retailers for solar, batteries and other home energy solutions — backed by CommBank’s own financing options. The partnership combines Brighte’s proven platform infrastructure and vendor network with the reach of Australia’s largest bank, making home electrification faster and simpler for more Australian households.

ARENA — $12m Electrify 2515 Community Pilot

Brighte is the delivery platform for Australia’s first community-scale household electrification pilot, backed by $12m in ARENA funding. Working alongside Rewiring Australia and Endeavour Energy, Brighte delivers integrated finance, subsidies and vendor coordination for up to 500 homes in the Wollongong suburb of Thirroul — providing a replicable blueprint for scaling community-led electrification programs nationally.
