Created by independent experts with input from government, industry and universities, Energy Management Fundamentals’ easy to follow videos, activities and resources provide an onramp into energy management. Importantly, the program has been carefully designed to ensure no prior knowledge is needed.

The self-paced, online learning program can be utilised by tradespeople and professionals in a variety of ways depending on their needs:

• Supporting professionals in business and government to integrate an understanding of energy management into their day-to-day work;
• Enabling aspiring energy management specialists to quickly get across the fundamentals before moving on to more advanced content; and
• Equipping advisors and tradespeople in customer facing roles with basic guidance for businesses and households on opportunities to better manage energy.

The journey starts with Introduction to Energy Management Fundamentals, which gives participants an overview of the critical role of energy management in Australia’s energy transition.

From there, learners can choose from two primary pathways depending on their needs: Business Energy Fundamentals or Home Energy Fundamentals.
